Alright so I read the guide and I'm pretty impressed. I was just wondering if anyone else had success with this build. I love making sorcs... I have a meteorber, blizz, and lite sorc this ladder season. And this cl/fo version seems like something that I would be willing to give a try if it actually works well. Any feedback would be helpful! Thanks

I'm using a lvl90 CL/Orb sorceress mainly for keyruns.

She's does 5-97xx Lightning Damage, 5-46xx Chain Lightning Damage and about 46x Orb damage (with 1 cold skiller)

Killing speed is quite unimpressive with my setup (gives +12 to all skills)

I could imagine that with similar setup, I'll do much higher (average damage) with fireball than Lightning in a meteorb build.

So I'm not to keen in recommending meteorb.

Your average damage with CL may be less...but it's area of effect should be much larger than fireball. Shouldn't that even that variable out a bit...or no?

I too am interested in this build. Has anyone else tried it?

haha im so confused by your post.

your killing speed is 'unimpressive'.
you think that fireball would do 'much higher average damage'.
but you dont want to recommend meteorb?

i would assume its a typo, but "i'm not to keen in recommending meteorb" doesnt really look like it could have a typo that would change its meaning 180 degress.

I don't recommend the CL/Orb build.

Fireball has splash damage and even better KNOCKBACK.

Don't get me wrong, I love this build as it's aggressive and fun. But it just pales against other cookie cutter builds.
