Nl price guide- need help

Well, im gonna start some pvp chars- but i dont want to on ladder because my computer time is limited nowadays, and everything is cheap on nl, i imagine.

I was just wondering if someone could mabye help me out with gear, or tell me the general price of, say, an soj. (they are still the currency on nl rite?)

Would very much appreciate unwanted nl east giveaways ;)

The problem with NL prices are that they are entirely dominated by dupes, and legit prices are low to most people. A few general guidelines are... 30/20 pris shield w/ few mods = soj (for most types of shields), 240-250ish martel = soj, 210 exec = soj, 135-145 bh = soj, that about it. I could probably help you with prices of specific items if you tell me what you need. I play NL on *UM-Zodijackyl mainly, so whisper me there if you need help.

The thing with non-ladder is that the economy is full of duped rares. However, for uniques and sets I would say that the ladder price guide mostly applies to non-ladder too. Just keep in mind that there are several tiers above the platinum tier of the various dupes that are floating about. As for the value of the SOJ, I would say it's roughly 2-3 other items in the platinum tier (say, two gulls or two silks). Level req SOJs also have a slightly different value than "prepatch" no req SOJs, but that seems to depend mostly on who you are dealing with.

The biggest thing with trading in non-ladder is that many people don't want to deal with anything less than the platinum tier. My advice for trading uniques and sets is to stick to normal difficulty trading games.

Next time you see me on remind me to show you the gear from my stripped fballer. Back when people still had maphack to see items nearly everyone who saw my sorc cried for the items. My holy grail of D2, my favorite char with all the best I've collected over the years. And of course "that yellow bone helm" which is quite possibly the single most valuable item on USEast. :)
Just a note, to really compete with legits, it'll take either a few years or alot of paypalling to collect the items you need. If you want to go with cheap dueling, ladder is actually easier.
