I'm keen on making an Aldur's set using druid. I know, I know, I know, it's not a good set. But still, I want to see the special aura on a bear (TwoBearsRoaring, so a bear). Just got him to about level 41, so serious decisions must be made.

I have 2 +1 shapeshifting charms and +1 summoner charm, plus a +3 summoner amulet. And I like summoner concepts. So far, my points have gone into:
10 Dire wolf
10 Grizzly
12 Heart of Wolverine
1 in Oak, poison and solar creeper, Shockwave prerequisites, 1 in werewolf, 1 in Lycanthropy.

10 more points in grizzly, 8 more points into HoW, and we get to make choices.

Looking at a calculator, the grizzly gets all the damage it's going to get from its own points and HoW. Life of about 4000 seems to be indicated with the points spent in dire wolves, which should be enough. My Windforce Strafeazon's Valkyrie has less, and she seriously outlasts the Merc. Counting on a Might Merc, who would benefit from HoW too, with a Reaper's toll for Hell difficulty, Physical damage is quite high. Now, we need to deal with the bloody immunes. Decrepify will help, but it may not be enough.

Idea one, rely on Decrepify. Invest extra points into Shockwave, Maul and the Wolves. This would make for a ridiculously tough grizzly and keep the druid stun locking the enemies with shockwave and maul. Risky, though.

Idea two, add some extra elemental damage. Looking at the weak point of the set, the weapon, I see that it has a very low damage, hard to increase, but 3 sockets, plus 30IAS. With three shaels, got them, this makes for a fast whacker. So, add a Tiamat's rebuke, socket it with an Eth, and get what, 45% block, resist all and about 300 elemental damage? Add a few elemental damage charms, then go as above.

Idea three, Fireclaws. With some 30 points left at level 80, 20 point fireclaws and 10 in a sinnergy, If I'm reading the calculator correctly, should yield about +700 fire damage. Not the impressive 3000 of a focused build, but it does add the other elemental sources mentioned above and keeps the strong grizzly and merc under both Might and HoW.

Any suggestions?

Edit: added PvM note

Number 2. Eld is the rune your thinking btw. Additionally you should get a druid torch. I've heard rumours the firestorm does more damage than it should.
For the rest of your points, max poison creeper. Another source of non-physical damage. Read electricblue's guide before commenting on the creeper. ;)

Hellfire torch. (http://forums.diabloii.net/showpost.php?p=3710398&postcount=38)

I think you needed to collect keys from hell countess, summoner, witch doctor endugu and nihlatak. Not sure though.

Ah, the one-in-seven-times-three item that is only available online. Out of the local universe, I'm afraid.

Is the poison creeper intentional or a bug? i never base builds on bugs, they get corrected eventually. See Marrowalk...
