I keep testing 2 ideas:

SS (Ber'd) against melee for a Total 50% PDR, spirit for casters.

Homo for melee (only 8% PDR from enigma), darkforce for casters.

Getting the strength is not an issue since hardly any points would be needed.

What are peoples thoughts about the 50% PDR now that marow/high bone armor is gone. Is it worth building around SS or is a grief barb going to walk through the 50% PDR no matter if you have it or not?

I'd probably say go with the SS/Spirit in 1.11, for just the reason you mentioned (high bone armor w/o marrowalks gone). I also like spirit alot better than darkforce anyways.

I'll take SS for melee and Darkforce for Caster. Though Spirits works really well since you'll have enough str for it anyway if you're able to switch to SS.

KK, thank you, one more question.

Is there a huge diff between a normal 35% FBR (faster block rate) which comes with the shield and adding a shael to hit the next breakpoint. Can the diff be noticed at all against melee or is it not even worth a thought in consideration (meaning just stay at 35%)?

I've never noticed any difference in the FBR even if I got for the next bp.

I'll rather use the socket for something else.
