do the pit lords on the baal runs before the minions of destruction have the ability not have thier immune poison taken away? I have -62 to resist on my poisonmancer and can't get rid of it anyone have any input?, I also have death's web but does the -45% to poison resistance just get added automatically or do you have to hit the creatures first for it to go in effect?

It requires more than -62% to break immunities. Conviction(Max -150%)+Lower Resists usually breaks most elemental immunity but conviction won't work because it doesn't lower poison.

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :drink: and feel free to raise some corpses.

Those Venom Lords have a Poison Resist of 120. Since LR works at 1/5th of its power when breaking immunities you would have to have a LR that lowers resistances by 105% in order to break their immunity. You can't reach this level so those Venom Lord will stay immune.

Items that lower Enemy Resists such as D-web do not help when breaking an immunity. They only kick in after the immunity has been broken. As c0ldasice said only LR and Conviction can break immunities.

So, how high LR would you need to break *most* psn immunes, like those archers down in sewers. And those crazy bone spear serpents on the way down to baal. Is that 'bout 60% + ?

If poison immunity cannot be broken with a level 10 lower resistance, it cannot be broken.

What Mantis said about Venom Lords applies for everything that is labeled 'Poison Immune'. You won't be able to break poison immunities with lower resist.

Untrue, anything that has 110% poison resistance or less may be removed with lower resistance.

As an example, I'll give you an excerpt from my guide in progress, from the resistances section dealing with immunes in act 2 hell.

Depends on your backup skill.

If there are corpses around, you can always use corpse explosion. Your merc can handle with them, as well as your skeletons.
