Very newbie question I know, but is it possible to remove a personalization with the cube? I know I can empty sockets and such. On the upside, I got a Lightsabre dirt cheap because the other guy had personalized it. :lol:

You cannot remove the personalization. Once it has been personalized, it's there forever.

I think you can REpersonalize it though, with your own name. Not 100% sure though.

Correct. Once an item is personalized, it is stuck with that name forever; it cannot be repersonalized to get a different name. I ran into this problem last ladder season when I obtained a perfect death cleaver for pretty cheap cause it was personalized.

On the other hand, personalizing an item doesn't do anything but lower the trade value, so it's nothing to worry about. There is no hidden penalty if the item is used by the "wrong" char.

true but ppl dont like their items personalized if u want to try to trade it, the value of em go down so much and is very hard to trade too.

People seem so picky. Why should it matter if a perfect item has a name on it? Dosent change the stats. Bah to much time on their hands to quibble over a name lol.

Can you personalize jewelry? I tried it with an SOJ I found in order to be able to tell it apart from the ones people gave me, but it didn't work. Luckily I know exactly which one it is. I have taken extreme care to keep track of it.

This is so true. I dont care if my weap says "goofy bozo the clowns" death cleaver. If it has phat mods, then its worth the mods inherent value.
I had a sweet 2050 def stone armor that i wanted to trade. It had my name attachted to it. Thus most of the people laughed it off like it was junk because of the name. Eventualy I found a guy that was more then happy to give me the right deal for it.

Again this is another sad example of people taking this game way to serious.

If things are personalized of someone horored or to remeber the deeds of someone who quit, then I would prolly go with it, but "goofy bozo the clown´s stuff" would definatly by over the top. :lol: Can´t stop laughing about this one.

However I would like "JesusChrist´s Waterwalks" on my sorc, btw. :clap:
