20 games at once max?

On BattleNet(ladder games, closed), I'm confused as to how games available to join appear once you click the join button. The reason I'm asking this is because many times when I come to create a game, it will tell me that the game name already exists, yet when I check the list of available games to join(which there always seems to be about 20 of them), I dont see it there and I need to type it in manually to enter it. And I understand that if the game created would be on another difficulty than me, than it's normal I don't see it. So I'm talking about open games that are of my same difficulty level that I cannot see on the join screen. It seems as though the server just cycles through continuously a list of about 20 games. Is this true, and is there a way to see all the games currently open? Thanks in advance for any help.

The game constantly cycles through a list of games. There could be hundreds or thousand of games going on at any one time. There's no way that I know of for you to see every game.

Yeah, the game list is bugged to no end --- incomplete, random order, and neither the games visible in the view nor the one you have selected are updated as things change.
