ok i have a 86 summoner for last ladder.
he is fitted with all mf gear over 1000mf
maxed skelton, skelton mastury,max ce
rest have 1 point (curses,bone armor,all summoning skills)
i have 18 skill points saved.
now after doin tons of nik runs for d keys with my hammerdin with almost no mf i was thinking i should do this with a mf char after all it's nik and he is as good as baal for dropin high level gear/charms.
could i survive doing this with him?
had no problem doning hell baal with him even though i have like -80 resistances , just a good cb/might merc
I was thinking summon resist for the 18 left over points (they are my max block and resistances after all i just hide behind them curseing and ce) or what do you think? more summons perhaps?
I was thinking get more 7mf/5 resist all sc's to replace my normal 7mf sc's but do i need that? or maybe just 7mf/11 fire resistante sc's (nik deals ce whitch is fire and pyh dmg)
do i need summon gc (my invintory is all 7%'s excetp for spaces for drops) i mean i did fine agains hell baal with this build (but i always found nik harder than baal) the only good peice of gear for killin on him enigma, rest is ist this ist that just good mf gear. If i could survice well with 1000 mf key runs just become that much better. oh ya does mf affect key drops there white but its not like there are uniques, magic or rare keys?

It'd be wasted putting all of those (mb a few) into summon resist, it has killer diminishing returns. Maybe BA if you are worried about survival, mb more in curses, just shore up where you want to

You could try Mages with the amount you have left. They can be a blessing or a curse depending on who you talk to. Do a search because this is a subject that has been covered before.

One into Bone Armor, the rest into one of its synergies (like Bone Wall or Bone Prison). The reason the rest should go into synergies after the initial point is because each synergy gives +15 points to your Armor, while each subsequent investment into Bone Armor only gives +10, and costs an extra point in mana.

With Assuming you only had 1 point in BA and 17 in say, Bone Prison, you could still walk away with a decent amount of protection against a glancing melee or missile attack: +265. With a negligible amount of + skill items, you could easily have over +300 protection.
