If what you mean is "does casting iron maiden on your opponent who then hits your golem" work, the answer is yes. You cannot cast a curse on your party/minions.

You can still cast weaken on your opponents, but I'd generally suggest decrepify as it lowers their damage by 50% instead of 33% (note that this is just a -50%/-33% addition to their ED% from auras, skills, ect, so it's not technically cutting their damage by 1/2 or 1/3). Weaken is only superior in range and duration, which, depending on the duel, may be an upside, but in many duels it is not, as decrepify also has the 50% slowing ability, and lowers their physical resistance by 50% (not that it helps you much in pvp).

When an iron maidened opponent uses a melee attack against one of your minions/bone walls it'll work as normal (with only a damage return penalty iirc, not enough to keep them from killing themselves), if he hits you it'll still work, but it has to go through two pvp penalties as well as a damage return penalty, so it'll be negligible.

Iron maiden is bad manners in pvp though, so I wouldn't suggest utilizing it unless their BMing you.
