Is it possible?

Back in 1.09 it stopped at Thul.

I now hear that there is some way to transmute runes above Thul though.

Is there a way to downgrade runes? Make a Amn into 2 or 3 Thuls (even just lower it and make 1)?

what about after thul and before hel? can't u ugrade those runes?

it looks by the wa the gems are used that other chipped gems would work for upgrading some of those.

As posted in the lists, you can upgrade all runes up to Zod provided you have a single player character, an open character or a ladder bnet character. After ort you need to use the corresponding gem. The tables are separated because the recipes after shael do not work for characters playing in bnet non ladder.

You must be on ladder to upgrade to any high rune.
