View Full Version : EbotdTM For Furywolf
I'm making an uberer fury wolf, my team has a 50+(slvl) bo'er, and a wonderful summoner for meat shields. I'll be using fury along with a hammerdin and a zealot.I'm not rich, and I have an ebotdtm I already have. Are any other mauls better? (I am not planning on using a shield, I have meatshields and other defenses). Pure damage.

I think thats a 9 / 6 fury, and while thats ok, you'd be better off with an ethBOD great poleaxe, which is 8 / 5 and range 5, if you have the runes to spare.
I don't think mauls compare to poleaxes for a shapeshifter. With fury, faster is always better, if you're too slow, the monsters will have moved, or you're attack will be interrupted.
Great poleaxe and giant thresher are great and for some style points you could get a archon staff.
Alright, I see your point. And yes, I can get ahold of Ebotd anything pretty easy. Torches sell for a lot, and I'm in a clan called PCG, pretty much uberer-only.
Edit: Wow, the great poleaxe looks great. <No pun intended> My equipment will call for only 70-80 or so strength to use it. (Jalal's, Dusk CoH) The bo'er has level 40-50 shout, don't remember which, so the defense will be high. What type of jewelry should I wear? SoJ/SoJ/Maras, Angelic, what? And gloves? My boots are upped gore riders. And what about dex? I have a lot of dex charms so I could go dex-less and have a chance to pop, or get the 75 needed for it, or... who knows. After 80 strength and 80 dex I'll pump vita and energy (kidding...lol) So At level 90 I'd have like 65 x 5.. 325 points in vita, not counting quests. 650 + 60 base life is 710, not with equipment, and the battle orders would bring me to like 1800-2100...or more. And then the werewolf bonus! What about skills? I was thinking:
20- werewolf: AR and Attack speed.
20- Lycan: time, life.
20- Fury (duh...)
20- ?
19- ?
Quests- ?
What other skills should I get? 20 Feral for ll and r/w?
As I stated before, meat shields aren't really necesarry, and rabies doesn't affect Ubers. Torch is covered, lol, and 4-5 ss gcs? Appreciate the help.

something i've learn on this forum (thx to Gandalf  ) that works is that 1 point in werewolf will suffice as long as u have ~10 total in werewolf with +skills (easy to get). no investment in dex needed for this to work.
rest of ur skill points:
20 in spirit of ur choice: oak (+life, my pick) or HoW (+dmg & ar).
there several options to spend the remaining skill points. the main ones are:
1) 1 grizzly, 20 dire wolf to build grizzly life.
2) 20 cyclone armor, rest synergies.
3) 20 raven.
4) 20 rabies, rest poison creeper (synergy).
...
20 ravens is a waste. id go second spirit.
Shizznit... Spent 75 in Dex and 75 in Str...and 10 in ww. Well anyways I'm at 30 now and like I said- this is uberer only. I'm not maxing another spirit, no need for more life (We have a summoner druid with 40-50 oakie). I'll max Feral for r/w and leech, and I'll think of something else. Thanks for the opinon guys.

Don't max ravens, only get enough for level 16 or so(with +skills). They'll have a pretty good chance to blind enemies then. If anything, I suggest splitting the remaining points between Werewolf and Feral Rage, or - if you haven't already - get a point in each of the vines.

...botd archon staff
Good luck finding one of THOSE
If you REALLY want him to sparkle, get yourself an Ethereal Zod'd Upgraded Ribcracker. Wham, Bam.

eth upped ribby is dumb. 400-600 damage isnt worth the time or the zod. It only hits a 5 fps fury so thats not all that cool. It does have a low str and dex needed so ok fine.
Ebotd archon staff is just tooo cool.

Fine - make that a non-ethereal upgraded Ribcracker. It's the mods that count, not the damage -_-
