I want to make a Werebear for playing PvM. I don't really know where to start! What skills and stats should I go for? I haven't found any werebear guides!

Check the sticky titled READ THIS FIRST. TheDragoons werebear guide is a good place to start. If you want a fireclaw bear read coldarmy's guide too.

Hmm, isn't that Dragoon guide way too old? That other guy seems to be asking questions instead of providing a guide. I'm sort of a newbie and I don't want to find out I went wrong once I hit level 80 or something.

The skills have remained unchanged mostly. Only things that has changed for werebears of 1.09 is that fireclaw bears are viable.

There is some new gear awailable with the new runewords, but you won't be needing them till later in the game. For now just level your bear to medium-high level and take note of any problems that arise. Then come asking solutions for your problems. If you have specific problems right now, name them.
