I've just been thinking about it:
If you had 100% Crushing Blow, ALL your hits would reduce the enemy's life by 25%. But that's 25% of the actual HP. That doesn't mean you'll kill them in 4 hits.
But does Crushing Blow also adds the damage that WOULD have been dealt, even if Crushing Blow failed?
For example, if I Smite for 100 damage, and I have Crushing Blow, and that Crushing Blow check succeded, will I take 25% of the enemy's health AND do 100 damage? Or will I just do 25% damage and that's it?
Because if this is the case, if someone had 100% Crushing Blow, he would never kill the target. After a certain point he would simply be doing 1 damage to the target.
Can someone clear this out for me please?
