Bnet problem

ok here is the deal. everytime i click the bnet icon it comes up with a picture of a gargoyle holding an empty glass overits head and it says patch dowload 0% loaded. then it says "u have been dissconected from battle.net. please reconect." and it keeps doing it. the first time i tried it was the same thing but it got to 100% then said "u have been dissconected from battle.net. please reconect." and idk what to do please please please help!!!

Recently (well, kind of recently) Blizzard released a new patch (Path 1.11b). This is most likely what battle.net is trying to download for you, and therefore is what is restricting you from going onto battle.net. Try to download and install it manually.

You can download it from http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/diablo2/patches/PC/ (it'll be titled "D2Patch_111b.exe").

Diablo2 reboots after the patch, did you notice? Or maybe you just have a technical error, download it manually.
