ok not too long ago my cousins came over to spend the night, and so one of my cousins fell asleep on a couch in the room where we play diablo, so one of my friends started up a game and turned the volume up real loud, and then went to the part where you make a new guy and clicked on the barb, so we watch my cousin and...1..2..3..ROAR! my cousin almost jumped off the couch, it was so funny we were all rolling in the floor!

yea when u do that make sure u got the paladin out
for some reason, he sounds the most evil, the barb sounds so sarcastic when he says run away, like he wants all the glory

Truthfully though when I first started playing the game the same thing happened to me. I was quite surprised by the barbarian howl... but nobody was here to laugh at me :)

I still get a little startled each time I make a new mule. He is just a little bit too loud, but I guess that's the way barbs are :rolleyes:

Ah man, you should've turned the vloume down and done a quick CS run and then spawn diablo and cranked up the volume. "Not even death can save you from me!" i imagine would've been alot scarier and hilarious! I used to do that to my friends that stayed over sometimes. There was a song called "the demon's whip" by manowar that had a huge roar in it that was great for scaring the begeezuz out of someone asleep. My other personal fave was the deicide "legion" album, it was chock full of loud gutteral demonic screams that were guaranteed to send my friends flying into the headboard or dresser in .0001 seconds flat!!! :lol: Ahh good times.....good times.

On the downside...I sometimes play at work :) and was creating a mule. I just finished a video conference, so my puter sound was on LOUD due to the bad connection. I clicked on the barb (I like them for rushing mules because they can hold the staff in Act II and it doesn't have to go in the stash) and lo and behold, a mighty roar filled my office, attracting people from all around. I told them it was a joke email...as I turned bright red. And then - I accidentally did it again. Sloooow learner... :rolleyes:

lol :) I was thinking of putting the phone in front of my speakers and clicking on the barb with the volume as loud as it can get, or maybe i'll put it in front of that stereo system...
