Well kk im making a pvp smiter and im lookin to maybe kill some barbs , what gear stats am i goin to be lookin for to take some some bvb barbs.....?

Would this character be JUST for melee? (er, vs barbs)

Wether or not you want to duel casters would effect gear, if you just want to stick to bvb games then i recommend... (and btw, this will spank bvb barbs, 2h barbs not so much)

+2 pally high defense barbed shield, or +2 high def grim shield (additional defense or additional dmg, your call)

Cannot be frozen is needed, and hawk is a big armour sacrifice- so, deaths sash for belt

+2 pally ammy- other mods are life//stats. If your melee dont bother baout resists, anywhere.

rare rings with +stats//life. +max and min doesnt work with smite, so dont bother with that. Sojs would also be good, but... dont bother.

Goblin toe for boots- nothing comes close.

Fhr life high def grim helm

Fhr -%reqs high def ornate. Or twitch if you REALLY need the ias.

Bloodfist is the best choice for gloves, but you can use deaths gloves for 30ias with the belt if you need the additional ias.


As for weapon, this is tricky.

The mods on gnasher are great, open wounds, 20% crushing. However, its gonna be hard to get 6 fpa with this.

The generals li tan do ga flail is pretty good, fast, easy to get 6 fpa, and the 50% slows target is good

A rare with +2 pal and 40 ias is probably your best bet, remember to use a range 3 weapon.

+2 pal 40 ias range 3 wepn is your dream choice.

blood cresent for its insane speed and open wounds deserves a mention, but its only range 1.




SO basically, with all your gear on, you should acheive---- 6 fpa smite, high defense, at least the 4 frame fhr bp (86% isnt worth it), 25% crushing blow, open wounds if you can, and range 3.

The best setup possible (imo)

+2 paladin 40 ias flail

24 fhr -30% requirements 902 defense 60 life ornate plate- socketed with pruby

10 fhr 252 defense 40 life grim helm- socketed with pruby

+15 strength and dex +40 life rings X2

Deaths sash

Bloodfist- or if you dont need the fhr and/or ias- war gauntelets with stats and high def

Gob toe

+2 paladin 17 fhr high def barbed shield


Prebuffed with 2 sojs, tarnhelm, silks, +2//+3 holy shield scepter (if it can spawn)


You will kill bvbs if you shift smite them and they have >3 range.

With a flail and lvl 20 fanat you need 35 ias to reach 6 fpa smite.

[Classics]

Get as many +skills as you can (damage AND defence) to get around 1.2k Smite. Aim for HUGE defence, I'd say around 12k. Life should be upwards in the 1.6k region at around level 85.

Skills:
20 Holy Shield
20 Smite
20 Fanaticism
20 Defiance
Other pts. are completely up to you. If you're going to be a Vs. Everybody character, all extra points should go into Charge. Charge and Smite is very effective. Vs Melee only is tough, however, and those extra skill points could go anywhere.

+2/+3 Holy Shield scepter can't spawn. It's all very lame.

Hey couldnt i use khalims flail for its 50 ias since i cant find any way to get +skill 40 ias flails no one seems to have on europe sccl.

Or what about my 40ias naga? Or is there any scepters with enough speed like NO ONE has a flail like that on Europe classic ladder what about imbueing what level should i be to imbue such a flail Or can i use a knout????

No, it has to be made in a -10 base speec wepn.

Priests flail of quickness- shop for it. Dont waste your time on a rare


As for khalims, its not range 3

Hell at any respectable lvl where they sell magic flails

The lvl req for this is only 42, so as long as ur a high-ish lvl u should be able to shop it.
