Hey i just found a 6 sock exec sword and was thinking wouldnt this be like the ultimate Bvb weapon, if u socketed right with gems wouldnt it do huge dmg to bvb barbs most of which have 0 resistance..... or even -res, Also is it worth anything??

It won't work as well as you think. I know, I have one. A 6 soc filled with 6 Pemeralds. +600 poison damage for 7 seconds. Thought I would own. I was wrong. The base damage is too low. And a lot of Barbs do have high Resists. I know I do for Hell difficulty. Haven't tried any other gems yet, as a 6 soc doesn't drop all the time. Maybe lighting, or cold.... . But all in all it didn't work so well in BvB. It was ok in PvM. Nice for the immunes to Physical in hell. Took a while though. Hope this helped you out. :thumbsup:

I have seen a 6pemerald wepn bvb do ok, he was no serious threat though.


P.S. I got arrested a short while ago, and i havent been on the computer. But now i am officially back. :/

Anyone on USEast non ladder whisper *UM-Zodijackyl *Zodijackyl *NAPALMSTIX2KIDS or *UM- for bvb... I'll own any barb honor BvB, especially 6soc barbs :P

Personally my favorite bvb weps are +1 40ias 183ed 39life Exec, or 182 440ar 1-2cold dmg hi fire dmg BH

Also, most BvB's will have PLR, which negates eme sockets... my barb has PLR75 on 2 items =)

I am not so sure I am proud to have "Brother" members here. If the rest of you are anything like BrotherART, I don't want you here.

By the way, I don't think the Brotherhood is infamous (or famous). I had never heard of them, and I have been playing this game for a little while (at least a few days). Not many people like PKers, except the PKers, who may think it is funny. Mutual duels are one thing. But PKing, just for the fun of it, is not very funny. It is a pain in the *** and not very welcome in questing games.

If anymore of you are Brotherhood members, I do not have a problem with you ... yet. Most people here are good people. Please don't become like BrotherART and all will be OK.

BrotherART didn't fare well against my Summoner Necro....too bad he left before I had a chance to finish him off :mad:

Slightly back on topic, 6 socket exes blow. If you must use a 6 socket wepn dont make it an exceptional, because the physical dmg will be really low anyway and all it does is increase the requirements.

A 6Xptopaz crowbill with 5fpa zeal with conviction is... ok.
