all vita barb question

Hi, im just wondering if a all vita barb with base dex and strength be better then a mixed stats barb. I mostly melee.

Uh, most BvC barbs go pure vita, with a torch+anni+dracs you get enough for a Dusk enigma, which gives you enough for arreats. I used all vit, and have no problems with popping etc.

if you're melee, what kind of melee? people say ww isnt melee, but to me it is. if you are ww, then you wont need the dex. but if u are conc/berzerk (conc is better 4 melee), then you will definately need the dex. pure vita will grant you around 1.5k more life atleast from my experience. i didnt do the calculations because im just lazy like that. max block is crucial in melee duels. what barb build are you?

hell no. you need shield to block. even tho u are conc barb which has high def, shield will save ur life. only get enuff str to wear ur stuff.

by lvl 90 ur supposed to have about 203 dex on ur blocking to maintain max block on the storm shield plus strenght also matters depending on the barb u are y should aim to have enought strenght to use ur items

but dont over kill ur stat points on strenght or on dex and forget about rasing energy how i used to distribute points was 2 - 2 - 1 or 2-1-2 and it would vary depending on th amount of dex needed and i got to a point where i started to pump vitality

Who need def against casters anyway ;)
I personaly i hate the look of mage plate, Barlgos skin all the way;)
