View Full Version : Most Dmg Palladin?
What build will give you the most damage. I am sort of curious because I am bored and would like to construct a build in which I could take out baal in about 2 to 3 seconds.. is there such a build? I have heard that charge-adins could get damage into the 50k range using decent gear?

Thought about this a while ago. I was going to do a Phoenix (350-400% ED plus any extra you could get out of the shield), Fortitude (300%), Last Wish (200% from Might plus a very high base damage value - up to 375%) build with max Zeal, max Fanaticism, and max Sacrifice (for the Zeal synergy). If you threw on a 3x40% ED helm you'd get another 120%, and then perfect Steelrends (60%) you'd have some pretty disgusting damage. Now if you wanted to, you could go for Sacrifice, which WILL do more damage than any other single attack skill in the game (as it has Fanaticism as a fricking synergy!). You'd need to use Zeal to to lay down Life Tap with your Last Wish first, though.
The only downside to zeal though is that it is hard for me to make contact against some of the bosses. I am using Angelics set right now and still missing occasionally..

I hope this isn't too far off the original post. Is it possible to have a charger that can kill hell Baal in one or two hits. Presumably he could kill just about everything else in one hit. I saw a build for a sacrificer but the writer said it is a challenging build to play.
well, with maxed charge, synergies, and fantat (all at lvl 20) and 200 strength, you have about 2000% ed (bit over). Add in a fort (300 ed) and a ebotd war pike = about 32k max damage. add +skills and u got yourself some nice damage.

tea, dmg is nice but this would be good only for pvp, cuz ur res would be low and u have low def, no block, u will get raped in hell I'm afraid...

If you had a might merc to go with that char, wouldn't that also increase damage? And if you chould cast amp damage, wouldn't that also help?
of course you would probably be dead before you could do the damage.

I doubt any char can take down Hell Baal in 1 or 2 hits even with a Might Merc equipped with Pride, including a GG Charger. Perhaps a Zealer in 1 or 2 full Zeals, but meh... Conviction Paly + FB Sorc's Meteor can't kill Hell Baal in 1 or 2 hits so... I assume no melee would ever come close to 1~2 hit killing the big dude. :rolleyes:
I saw someone drain Baal fairly quickly, I believe it was an amazon.. I would like to mimic his great feat and do it myself.. I think it was a jabbazon that did it that quickly, but thats the same as a zealer pretty much right!? What kind of zealer would I need to inflict this much damage? Pure physical?
ur dmg is always lower than cb dmg in pvm.

It's not about how MUCH damage you can do but how FAST you can deliver it. Case in point, how about a zealot that can take out the ubers in about 20 seconds each (if your slow?) Takes very specific, expensive gear, but hey, it's all worth it.
Skills: (normal zealot build)
20 fanatacism
20 zeal
20 sacrifice (zeal synergy)
20 holy shield
1 smite (pre-req I know, but this is your boss killer)
Gear:
Grief phase blade (400 preferable, but arent they all)
Fortitude in whatever armor
Draculs Grasp
Herald Of Zakarum, upgraded and Um rune
Gore Riders
Crown of Ages (Um or Ber runes depending on charms)
Verdungos Hearty Cord
Angelic ring and amulet set
Raven Frost
Easy strategy, zeal everything except act bosses which you smite and everything will be owned. Key here, the phase blade speeds up your smite considerably and with the added damage and fortitude, your smite is just sick. Fastest boss killer I've seen yet, and you wont be a glass cannon either.

What would make the ideal 1 hand Charge weapon? 400 Ettin Grief? or 400ed Ettin Death? or LastWish Zerk? or none of the above?
400 Ettin Grief definatly. Perfect Ettin Grief+Prefect Phoenix does damage that's better than most (if not all) 2 hander setups.
GG Chargers could get to 60k damage with EBotD thundermaul in 1.10, so with grief you may be able to get higher now.
i presume an uber killler smiter/zealer can take down baal in under 2 - 3 seconds , i needed some help with lilith and i asked for help on these forums some guy came and took her down in under 5 seconds flat, that is amazing and plus baal has less life then lilith
whats a GG charger?
A Charger who's gear is concentrated on damage first, everything else second.
