MF Barb

Hi,

I recently have become aquainted with some kick *** items, which can probably shop me an Enigma or IK Armour.

Hence I have decided to make...

AN MF BARB.

Why? Blizz sorc is for bosses, and I would like a key runner as well as a horking nab. Barb comes to mind.

I just have a few questions:

a) If I want to MF, Keyrun (nithalak) and maybe Boss run, what gear would I be using? IK set? Have no limitations, this may be ladder but I'm willing to wait :P

b) The current guides are a bit outdated, should I be getting WW/Conc? Pure WW? Pure Conc? ZERK!? Skill help is great :) I know you need atleast one point in find item ^^

c) 2h or 1h? Stormshield I guess if I'm gonna be running pits or keys or crap like that.

d) Will I be able to have high mf and survivability?

Well, sorcyone's mf barb build (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=344878&highlight=horking) isn't obsolete in my opinion, despite the revolutionary 1.11 :p

If you're going Keyrunning, keep in mind that only the Summoner, out of the three key-droppers, leaves a corpse, which is required to hork.

You could probably stick to an ordinary WW-build with an EBOTDGP with dual Ali Babas or Ali Baba/Heart Carver (to save points in Find Item) on switch, with Harlequin Crest, Enigma/Skullders, War Travs/Gore Rider, String of Ears, Highlords, Chancies, Ravenfrost and a dual leech mf ring, Gheeds and Annihilus. Of course you could go extreme and socket everything with Ists/Ptopaz's, but hey...

Naturally, you will always have to sacrifice some useful mods in order to get good mf, but I find this a decent compromise.

What is GP? Great Poleaxe? :P Perhaps the Enigma might be in my reach, but probably not ebotd :) Would the next level be Eth Oath as mentioned in sorcyone's build? Looks great :D

I'm not too intune with the key dropping, infact I don't know much about it. Could anyone enlighten me? And I've got Eth Skullders atm, would I use that over Enigma or...? Is the tele really that benefitial when I'm gonna be horking anyway? Since a baba is fast anyway, will the time really cut down?

Axe or Sword? I've got an Eth Balrog blade and an Eth Conquest Sword, but the guide suggests using axes. I don't really like the look of axes, but that does come to the question I ask about 2h or 1h/shield, would shield be better for key running due to the harsh realities of survivability? Perhaps Eth BBB Oath + SS?

i got a mf barb and im makin another 4 the ladder works great 4 cows and pit runs
but 4 key running i use my singer barb works great to if i got my merc's insight

Does your key runner use beserk instead, or conc?
