Hey well the fana zealot isnt doin to bad but i figure il try a new char like and was thinkin of these 4:
Tesladin
Javazon
Frenzy Barb
Smiter
I need opinions on what to do like, i really like the idea of the Frenzy barb but is it viable?
Can smiters still kill barbs like shift smite them as they ww?
A Tesladin im going to have to use Like hsarusu boots + belt or full angelic rings + amu for Ar since i dont have fana, and im gonna be restricted to 5fpa zeal ? thanks.

Tesladins are good, but if your sick of ur fana zelaot i wouldnt recommend it, they play similalarily.
javazons are good, but lightning immunes are common, and its difficult to hybridize on classic.
Smiters are good at pvp against ww barbs and other melee, thats about it. In general pvm the dmg doesnt cut it vs groups.
Frenzy is good for pvm, i prefer it to whirlwind. ww kills faster, im not gonna deny it, but i feel frenzy barbs are more versatile, and more fun.
Having said this, heres what i suggest: frenzy barb.
As for gear, cheapish gear which i have had succes with (and i have tried a couple diffirent setups)
40 ias high dmg naga. reg naga with high dmg (only your right hand wepn ias counts, as long as the left is the same base speed)
Goldskin - needed resists and decent defense. A rare ornate could be better, although itd have to be godly.
Deaths combo- with the 40 ias naga, this will reach the last breakpoint for frenzy.
angelic ring and 1 ammy. With 2 angelic rings, the chance to hit as opposed to just 1 ring (with frenzy) only increases by about ~5%. Id rather use a mana steal, ar, resist ring.
Tarnhelm- +1 skill and mf.
Gob toe- without these your screwed dmg wise, and fhr is not needed, resists are already maxed, and with frenzy you move fast enough.
Thats it for gear.
As for skills- enough to war cry for a decent stun length (about lvl 15 after + skills is a good choice)
Max frenzy
Max bo
Enough axe mastery until the % critical becomes diminishing (less than 3% per lvl)
10 double swing
10 taunt
battlecommand, decent resists on nat resist, utility skills.
Thats it.
And yes this build is a lot better than a pure synergyized//mastery frenzy barb. Or a defense barb.

hmm frenzy barb seems what im lookin for something with a difference i already have the 40 ias naga off my zealot so thats no prob infact i have all that gear, but im concerned about the skill layout, is warcry necessery cant i jump in and just like mash them or isnt frenzy about that?, what lvl mastery am i lookin at like 10?, what dmg am i going to be lookin at and most importantly can he kill fast as in ww barbish speed in hell cs ?

warcry is nessecary, frenzy being interupptable means you need to have crowd control. I would say a lvl ~10 mastery after bc and tarnhelm would be good.
As for ur dmg, you will be looking at about ~800 listed frenzy dmg (over 1k with crit) with 5.5fpa per weapon, along with cb and this is very nice, although it wont kill as fast as ww in the cs, you dont have to be paranoid about iron maiden with war cry + taunt, and a controllable attack.
I wouldnt be scared off by the low listed dmg, it kills faster than any other non ww melee easily, and is a blast to play. It can solo hell cs pretty easily, although i odnt like to go there with melee characters (river runs are pretty good)

What stats am i lookin at str/dex/vit what lvl battlecommand ,
fredsta54

base dex, 121 base strength (or 121 after gear) rest to vita.
Put 1 point to battlecommand.
Follow ash housewares frenzy barb guide (as for the skill points and info, go the war cry path)
and use the gear i recommended.
You can also use the same gear except with knouts, for an even faster frenzy, however, they are rarer, and nagas do more dmg (not sure which does more dmg over time)

Yeah, a medium level of warcry+skill items is nearly necessary for frenzy barbs, and if u dare to go into the chaos sanct: absolutely essential. Its essential for any barb except throwers to get good warcry for the cs. It will be ur only way to avoid dying from IronMaiden, and the powerful oblivion knight decrep can be avoided by just warcrying them first and taking them out. Warcry + battlecry can deal with cow mobs or any mob, even boss mobs with powerful auras. Otherwise u get beaten up too much too often...
Due to the sucky changes in frenzy with 1.10, u will really need 40% fast weapons to do the job. It's so slow now early on in the frenzy build up.

i still done see how i will have even remotely good resistances, Goldskin 35, Death 15, If ur saying use tarn then 0, maybe if i could find a duel 3x resistance with mana leach and Ar ring , but apart from that still crappy resistances :|

hmm frenzy barb seems what im lookin for something with a difference.....what dmg am i going to be lookin at and most importantly can he kill fast as in ww barbish speed in hell cs ?
Its quite rare to see any other barb but a ww barb in late stages of the game. Most barbs just stand around in the hell cs runs. What fredsta54 is recommending is more than the lifesaver I mentioned above. Even if u dont even frenzy in the cs, u will be providing high bo and a long warcry. That is about half of what a party needs: long life and immobilizing most of the mob. Using battlecry and taunt and even some shout is helpful too. You dont want to use bcry if there is a necro cursing the mob. Shout wont help u much in the cs - not with warcry doing its job, its just good for isolated monsters attacking other party members. Frenzy means NO SHIELD. Warcry will be ur shield.
If u dont build ur frenzy barb right, and get the right equip, u will be mighty disappointed. The damage will be slow, and reheal will wipe out much of ur damage. I've had some very good damage ww barbs, so good that they dropped using gtoes, to help run faster with r/w boots. That wont be an available luxury with frenzy. Fredsta recommends the warcry instead of maxing the synergies and weapon mastery. I had a lvl 95 frenzy barb, and he never maxed either frenzy or sword mastery, went for the max bo and high lvl warcry. I would recommend a 3 pruby helm death mask or grand crown: big +life at least till u get ur life over 3K. My barb had like 110 dex and 170 str to equip some +2 barb execs. That was before 1.10. He had only 2300 life with bo before adding alot of +life items such as the pruby helm, and he was too close to dying too often. Thats when I started using warcry lots.

What about Max Leap? As for Warcry, I suppose the stun doesn't work against players? I made a WW barb and I'm not sure where to invest after max BO...

What about Max Leap?
Leap has 1 good advantage and 2 big disadvantages. High leap can knockback the mobs and keep them from ganging up on the party. Warcry is better for that obviously. Leap wont damage and its very irritating for almost all other players who are actually not weak and trying to kill mobs, as any player knows who has ever played next to a Leap barb.
As for Warcry, I suppose the stun doesn't work against players? I made a WW barb and I'm not sure where to invest after max BO...
Stun does work in pvp, just that it shows the stun animation, but the players seem to move around and cast spells and ww, but they seem to not be able to cast most spells, hard to bonespirit, hard to teleport away, able to get off enough hammers to kill u, and ww seems to be uninterruptible with warcry. Your damage just wont be very high with lvl 15 warcry, u need like 80 points invested, a huge amount!!! Then a warcry barb is formidable against necros and sorcies and javazons who have gotten stuck within the radius.
