new to hardcore

i'm goning to make a hard core char for the first time. i was wondering what would be a good low level pk build? i see that charger is popular, but what in your opinion is a good low lvl pker? i wanna be able to kill like 15 lvls higher than me at least.

why pk if youre new to hardcore? the inexpensive ones to make is a charger. another one is a kicksin. cheers. i suggest you build an mf char then make a pker.

i was gonna make a trapper to mf with then make a pk char. i can get the trapper going no problem, but as for the pk char i have no idea how to build it and what to use.

Lvl 13/14 charger:

13 might
2 charge

Str: Enough for equip after charms.
Dex: Enough for equip or max block after charms.
Vit: The rest.


Incredibly poor gear:
Shop around with a higher lvl in a1 normal until you get a 100+ damage pike. Slap on whatever life gear you can find, and start killing.

Mid gear:
Either clegs sword/gloves and a Bone Shield of Deflection, or another pike similar to the one above. Get some cheap maxes (6-8 max), and put them in a 3-socket crown or 4-socket gothic plate. Get angelics jewelry, bloodfists if you went with pike, hsaru's/sigons belt, and whatever other life gear you want.

Perfect gear:
Ethereal pike with 6 20% ed jewels in it or clegs sword with a 9 max in it. 4-socket 60%ed pally shield with 36 max and clegs gloves if you're going 1-handed, bloodfists if you're going with the pike. 4-socket goth plate with 36 max dmg. 3-socket crown with 27 max. Angelics jewelry. Sigon's/Hsaru's belt. Videla's boots. Tons of life/stat charms.

100+ pike is hard to shop. best bet is to find open socket pikes and adding ITH runes( 9 max ) in it. (cheap gear)
3socket helm with pammies/prubies.
4socket gothic plate with prubies/pammies.
sigon belt.
sigon boot.
sigon glove / bloodfist.
angelics ammy/ring is best bet.

if you want to go with block:

4socket ar/ed pally shield or sigons shield. socket it with an eld rune ( more block ) and max jewels ( even if its crappy maxes )
sword: as mentioned, clegs is the best.


charms - tons of life charms. if you cant afford/find max/ar charms, go elemental charms esp. fire/cold.

expensive gear:

3os helm with max.
mechanic's gothic plate of life/etc. this is 3os/life armor. perfect for lv 15 since thats lvl req. put prubies or maxes in there.
angelics ring/ammy.
cow king's boots.
bloodfist
rare belt with fhr/life/str or fhr/life/dex belt. the minor mods should be resistances.
i agree with ethereal pike with 6sockets with 6 20% ed jewels. that should bring the dmg up a bit. of course, it will break so find a brutal(41-50% dmg) pike of gore(8-10max dmg) so perf brutal pike of gore would do: 104.5 max damage. and pray you get 2sockets from larzuk and add 20%ed jewels or ITH runes.

charms should be max/ar as well as max/life or plain life.
