I was killing the council when I killed the first one and he dropped the cube.
Also credited with the quest before all were dead. Anyone else have this happen?

Doesn't that happen if one person in the game doesn't have a cube?

yes, if someone didnt' do the cube quest in a2, a cube will drop in a3.

3 characters in game and partnered, 2 had done the quest(in act 3), 1 in act 1 town(Not completed quest).So i guess uncompleted quest for the 1 in Act 1, however didn't get credit.Picked up cube with character in Act 3 , who had completed quest in a different game, muled cube to different character not in game, so still confused. Oh well, free cube for other character.

I havn't tried it but I think if you mule your cube then kill council you also get a free cube.
If you don't pick up the soulstone at the end of act 3, Deckard will give it to you in the next act.

Yes, it's only about having a cube or not.

Remember, there isn't even a cube quest. And even if there were one, people could still throw away their cube...
