1) when u use dual weapons u get more hits per second?..if not then why beast+grief and not grief+pshoenix......u get more damage in grief+phoenix

2)what is the best fhr breakpoint....and vs what caracters is fhr more important?

3)i heard that gore riders are buged....that critical strike doesn't work..is it true or not ?

4)what carcater is the hardest to beat with a babr without teleport..doom..emchant....and how do u beat a grief baxe smiter with a barb without using enchant,doom,coa(2ber)...

5)does fortitude increas the damage done by smiters?

thx....Bafta :D

1) Per second and per few frames even. I assume you mean whirlwind. With one weapon, your hit check is done every 4 frames, provided you are within range of the target. With two weapons, its 2 checks every 4 frames. Of course, if you have enough weapon IAS for the fastest WW breakpoint. Otherwise its checked every 6 or 8 frames.

Phoenix doesn't allow maxblock. So if you don't block, you'll have more use of a beast. If you decide to block, go Stormshield all the way. Very good resists (especially vs cold sorcies), huge %dr.

An all-around barb would use weapon+shield combo more often (with maxed block) and a pure BvC would go better with grief/botd + beast (grief being the better one of the two damage-wise).

2) Fhr is most important versus Assasins, don't forget about all melee builds out there, too. The best breakpoint? Decide for yourself. Such precision is good if you are a dedicated dueler, and if you are.. you will make the right decision for yourself.

3) Never heard of such bug. Either deadly or critical can go off, not both at the same time, bot both are checked.

4) I'm far from best in BvC/BvA playing style. The experts here say that you can minimize their hits if you time the ww's well.

5) IIRC, yes.

2. fhr only matters if you use a skill like berserk, frenzy, double swing, bash, or stun. Conc and Whirlwind can't be interrupted, so fhr isn't very useful for them.

Barbs already have a fairly high fhr, so I don't bother boosting it up any. Some of the common items that most people use, like arreat's and verdungo's, already give you a bit more to help take you to the higher breaks.

You can find a list of the breakpoints in the conc guide, just for reference.

3. There was a bug with gores back in 1.09, because with a point of mastery, barbs had 100% critical strike, meaning the deadly strike on gores never triggered. That is gone now, and gores work fine.
