here is a question is the aura of redemption worthless or is it of some use?

I find it useful for my Avenger, but maybe other builds don't need it that much. Getting much needed life and mana from dead bodies instantly (don't need to wait for them to slowly fill up) is thumbs up in my book.

My hammerdin finds Redemption awesome. After killing a big pack, I just flip on the aura and my life/mana bulb instantly fills up. It's also good for getting rid of unwanted corpses.

in my experience redemption was really useful for these reasons:
1) it heals you and helps with mana
2) it clears the area of bodies (which can be good to help lower lag for the not so well set comps)
3) it depletes bodies summoners can use(and by that i mean bodies for necros OR for monsters with the revive dead etc. mod)

It is essential if your doing a Martyr build :).
But seeing as how barely anyone builds martyrs now, i guess not :P

Any build that has problems w/ LL or ML can use redemption. Even my Tesladin using a Crescent Moon Phase Blade (low physical damage) uses Redemption after every major fight. I just usually find a scepter with +3 Redemption and have it on my weapon switch. Your other +skills will boost its slvl further.
It's one of my favourite one point wonders, I love it when my hammerdins life and mana bulbs gets full in one switch to redemption. I guess it's better with builds that use more +skills though to make it more effective.

That's a good idea

That's a good idea indeed, I used to have a Redeemer on switch when I was leveling my last smiter, with a good roll it can give you +4 Redemption and +2 pala skills, which isn't bad at all :)

y redemption is a good aura i use it on my pala
not only is it good for health and mana but i also find it usefull to stop slain monsters from being revived from shamans and other reviving monsters.

pvp - its useless
pvm - its nice for healing after killing lotsa monsters (you could get a little heal in blood moor while dueling but not enough to make it worth doing--medit would heal faster lol)

How does it actually work? I've used a Skill Calculator which says if i fill in all the +skills i have:
Chance to redeem: 79% Every 2 Seconds
Hit Point/Mana recovery: 90
Does that mean every 2 second i have 79% chance to regain 90 hp and 90 mana points? But is this for every corpse present in a certain radius? does it select 1 corpse every 2 second?
Thanks.

Aura checks all corpses in radius every 2 seconds, and each has 79% chance to be redeemed. For each redeemed corpse, you get 90 hp/mana back. In otherwords, if there is 10 corpses, ~8 would get redeemed and you get 720 hp/mana back.

Thank you for explaining. It does look like to be a great 1pt aura then.
