its just a simple tactic to get them piss at you thus wanting to kill you. i play games to have fun i don't play them to feel proud.

regardless, theres other phrases you could use to be tactical. I mean running around cussing racials slurs could be excused as a tactic then. I love PKing, love it more when its done with some taste, class, dignity, respect any of the above. Some lines don't need to be crossed. Lets face it, you didnt get those kills because you called them ***, they were gonna fight you anyways. I wasn't gonna say anything but just the fact that someone else found it unneccarily rude/offensive/distasteful and you tried to justify it kinda made me wanna speak up. Grats on the kills, don't give the rest of us a bad name cuz you're too lazy to think up more mature ways to goad (spelling) people into fighting.

and pking/killing people with out asking is not rude? i rarely even type just sometimes type 1 or 2 lines to piss people off and if that line of text effects their conditon more ears for me

Aza is right, try to come up with some more original insults. You only make yourself look immature to most of the people here which I assume is not your intention since you are posting here in the first place.
I am aware that bnet is filled with homophobic teens and insulting their sexuality may hit a nerve but there are plenty of other ways to goad them into giving up their ear.

Agreed. Taunting can certainly add to the enjoyablility, but have a little class. I usually limit my taunts to agreeing with them, wishing them luck once they're dead, telling them to run like hell next time they see me, or something to that effect. Racial slurs and random insults are pushing it too far, and should just be avoided. Generally, as far as I've seen, the DII.net pker is a lot nicer then the standard "U R a n00b" pker.
I also don't understand how many pkers can't seem to put a coherent sentance together. No wonder pkers have such a bad name (besides the whole killing them thing...)
After the names us PKers get called , I have no problem tossing them back at them. I used to get called things and hear language that make a sailor blush. This is not a 12 years olds game , most of bnets is 17 + and Im sure being called a *** or whatever isnt going to scar them emotionally.
You use whatever advantage you can get to get them to stay and fight. Calling them a name is the easiest. Others may use differant tactics to goad targets this was his, give him a break. Do you think his targets get more mad that they died or that he called them a mean name?

then i squelch everyone, hostile, then let the fun begin. i also think name calling or racial slurs in an attempt to get more ears is a bit much....definately b-net fashion tho.....

I think I'm going to have to agree with Stimm on this one, although I can see your guys' points. If calling them a name gets you an ear, it's well worth it. If they have an emotional crisis because they got called a name by someone on the internet in a video game, that is sad, and their problem.

Last season I pkk-ed this guy and then hostiled his spotter and called him out. He, off course, didn't come out and fight. He was denying everything and playing dumb. I had followed these guys in and out off several games and it was painfully obvious what was going on. Some of the idiots (not you Senji) think people can't see through their program.

take a look at the usual trading battlenet trading channels duel/pk games etc.
they can come up with any kind of insult you can imagine. if people really seriously did pay attention and get offended i think they would be in a emotional crisis.
