Budget Zealot

Hello everyone, would like to say thanks in advance for any advice.

I want to make a zealot, seeing that they are one of my favorite characters (and Werewolf druids, Frenzy barbs and either light javazons/light trappers or light sorcs (lightning obsessed i know)

Anyway, im on a tight budget, with maybe 3 um runes total to work with, but would like cheaper if possible

I have a razors edge ii found, not the best wep ,but a fallback if need be, would really like to change it.
I was wondering about an up'd headstriker or something, since runewords pretty expensive.

Gloves will be laying of hands or draculs, both of which i have, but dracs may be moved to smiter if i make him, im hoping zealot may be able to do ubers (i can hope cant i :) ), or possibly sigons boots with gloves

Belt...currently none, would probably like a string/nosferatus or some other, maybe dungos, i dunno, depends on how much wealth i have left

Shield,i have an ss so thats no problem

Boots, if not sigons, probably tearhaunch for the str/dex and resists, plus with my skill setup i wont hve enuf to get vigor

Ammy- probably crescent moon cuz i will need the mana leech , +5% life leech on mine too, if i find some other mana leech, maybe angelic with ring too

Rings-raven if i can get one, if not, angelics maybe, or 1 angelic leech or , crescent ammy with 2 leech

Armor....not sure....i could do duress but not sure if its worth it....i cant reallybthink of anything else, even shaft is expensive now....much help needed here please

Helm, pretty much same as armor, i have a stealskull, which wouldnt be that bad i suppose, or maybe a darksight for the cbf/def/mana leech(i have one) due to the ridiculus price of ravenfrosts, other ring will probably be cathans or something for leech

I would like to hit the 4fpa breakpoint, but not absolutely neccesary if i can get a descent setup fairly cheap, 5fpa is pretty much my cut tho, dont want any slower, unless i have massive dmg, which i doubt i will

In case it matters, heres my Stat plan, since im a pure zealot(no smite charge or anything)

20 Sacrifice
20 Zeal
20 Fanatacism
20 Holy Shield
20 Defiance
7 Pre-requisites
1 Salvation
1 Vengeance for PI's

I will most likely use an A2 merc, simply because they have good damage, would be a good tank assistant, and has good damage. I am leaning towards defiance, since with maxed defiance and holy shield on pally, that would be uber good defense, Pretty sure i have a reapers toll he could use, and def a good dmg thresher if i cant find 1, dont have much in the way of helms tho, only CoT is on hammerdins merc, and i dont wanna take it since its his only source.

you're putting 20 points into defiance and then hiring a defiance merc?

due to the fact that I assume you will be using Fanat as your main aura, and that you have a defiance merc already, you could put those points somewhere else.... I'm not exactly the guy to talk to about where to put them on pallys, but you might want to think about that. It wouldn't be a bad idea if you hired a Might merc instead, seeing as how you are going for pure physical damage. (unless fanat has some magical dmg included... which I don't think it does... but hey, I could be wrong:scratch:)

Do might and fanat stack? I assumed they didnt, but if they do, I would probably go with a might merc. My thoughts on max defiance was that is had 15% Def per lvl due to holy shield synergy, so would be always on 15% more per lvl, not just when aura is active, because fanatacism would be on as my main aura.

I don't know what's more annoying, quadruple posting or quoting a very long post for no good reason. But yes, Defiance is there to synergize Holy Shield, and it's worth it.
