BvB WW Barb

[Dualface]

Ok I made a topic a little while ago about a ww barb and after geting some good feedback about my barb I decided to start all over again as to fix the strenght problems and find good equiptment. This is what I came up with.

level 78
Helm: Arreats face with gul rune ( i plan on fixing this, I only put it in because i miss read the rune and put it in thinking that it would give me 20 % more to my max AR)
Armor: Great Haburk duress rw
Weapon: ebotdcb ( I know that a zerker axe would give more damage but I like swords better/ I dont have a botd zerker)
Sheild: Strom Sheild umed
Ammy: angelic
Ring: 2x angelic
Belt: Vergs
Gloves: Dracs
Boots: upped gores
Weapon switch: 2x echoing spears

Strength: 136 base
Dexterity: 195 after equiptment enought for max bolck atm
Vitality: 202 base 264 after equiptment
Energy: Base

i found that with this equiptment that i did much better in BvB duels yet i stil feel that it has some room for improvement( the sockets in my helm and sheild most of all). I also find that with my barb with this equiptment has a bigger amount of ar than my last build but I dont know if the AR it has is enough( 12k wihout charms 13k with charms). And now that i have maxed ww
Sword mastery, BO, 10 into shout( will max) what should i put my skill pionts into after i amx shout?

Iron Skin with the leftover points. Ed/Str and Ed/Dex charms would be better sockets, if you can manage to get them. Get Demon Limb and use the enchant charges before a fight to bump up your ar even more.

Does ed mean encahnced defence or damage? and is it possiable for me to get some ed/str and ed/dex jewels for uniques such as galdiatrs bane and wolfhowl?
damn i just traded off a demon limb to lol :lol:

ed is enhanced damage when discussed in terms of jewels :) Unfortunately, ed/dex and ed/str jewels are usually pretty expensive, though I don't know about realm-specific pricing.

I doubt it but you could probably get a plain 35+ ed jewel cheaply. I hope you meant ar not damage from enchant hal, the damage is kinda pitiful.

Demon Limb for the massive ar boost, though it does give a tiny damage boost as well.

Will an enhanced damage jewel add to my damage as a whole or just my weapon damage?
and how much AR would i need to have a good chance to hit?

When calculating damage totals, the game adds up your weapon damage + any +min/max damage items that you might have (such as charms). This total is then multiplied by skills/str to determine overall damage.

If you socket an ED jewel into a weapon, it will act as on-weapon ED, boosting the weapon's overall base damage, which will then be multiplied by skills/str. If you put it in armor, it will be treated like skill/str ed, and multiply after your base damage total is determined.

For PvM, you only need 7-10k ar. BvC, you don't need much more than that. BvB, you'll need 20,000+
