View Full Version : Wolfbarb vs. Conc. Barb.

which is better? a good wolfbarb might do 1.3k dmg at 4 frames vs. a conc barbs 7k dmg. at 9 frames. the wolfbarb might have more life, but their other stats (def/AR) are pretty much similar. im lookin for another barb build to make. my zerker barb is gettin boring

vs Caster --> wolf
Melee exept smite and maybe zeal --> conc
Coolness --> Wolf
PvM --> Conc
I think wolf is all around better for pvp. fafster attack means they are in fhr/blocking animation more often.

I suggest Wolf, mainly because Conc Barbs aren't really all that effective for PvP and Wolfs just look so much cooler. ;)

are u sure? im still undecided grrr. i have a BvC ww barb but ppl complain ww isnt melee so i want to make a melee barb. wolf barb then?

i read ur wolfbarb build and it seems pretty interesting. but can wolfbarbs beat godly dracs/exile pallies? is zeal still uninterruptable?

Yes they can, but they go through the same trouble a Concentration Barbarian has versus one. Theyr'e not easy to kill, but it requries the right gear.

I wouldnt worry bout people who say that WW isnt a melee move because i have not heard anything proveing that it is a magic/non melee move other than the fact that you can move while doing it. IMO if the attack is affected by iron madien and the weapon used to inflict the damage is in the hand of the attcker and not throw it is a melee attack..so dont worry about people who vry that it isnt a melee move.
Sorry for going a little off topic.
Anyway I think you should go with a wolf barb because it is so much more unique then a conc barb and seems to work just as well.

High end Concentrate barbs will beat high end Wolf barbs 99/100 times, and wolves stand no chance versus palidans. If you have what it takes level/item/build wise i would suggest going conc.

Also remember that feral rage will give an awesome speed boost in pvp to chase down casters/ranged

Oh really? Based off what? Obviously you underestimate that build. It doesn't take a known and repeated build to defeat another, there's more than one way of going about that. As for myself, I've only lost versus 3 Concentration Barbarians against the many that I've faught. Zealots, depends, if they can't release a Life Tap they usually can't win.

Neither a conc barb or wolf barb will beat a top end zealer. It's not even close.

that's funny zangief, tap is bad manners, barbs are greater than palidans good mannered, you might as well strap on a demon limb and chant because only way your palidan will beat the best of the best melee barbarians is bm, thanks for readin. zer0-unit = vourius, and I doubt you've beaten him unless he was lacking the 32020's i lent him.

Well, my conc/ww barb (maxed conc, 1 point into WW) has very rarely died to a wolfbarb. Maybe I missed to godly ones... :D
