View Full Version : IAS jewel
Would a IAs jewel in a BP work for total attack speed or des it just effect the item installed in (IE weapon only jewel)?
It depends on the skill. Normal attacks, concentrate, berserk, stun, bash, double swing, frenzy all look at IAS from any source.
Whirlwind only looks at IAS on the weapon.

Cool, thanks. I have a 78 Frenzy barb and am useing a lighstabre and headstriker currently. I used a IAs jewel in a duriels shell with one slot and was worried after I placed thet jewel if it would even work from that item.
What are your opinions on the headstriker, I have had a few offers to trade it for a doom and that seems like a decent rade.
Offers to trade your headstriker for a doom? Is it an upped/eth headstriker? What kind of Doom?

its just a normal droped headstriker and as best I could tell so was the doom. Most of the requests to trade have come from Paladins so I assume there is some reason they want this sword. Im fairly new to the game so I have not really looked at uping items yet. Is this something I should look to doon items like my lightsabre, headstriker, duriels, etc?
Also, I found a Titan's spear. is this worth useing or tradeing?
Something seems extremely fishy about that offer. Doom is an extremely expensive, valuable runeword item. Headstriker is a fairly common unique that is nice because of the deadly strike, but still not excessively amazing. What kind of Doom weapon were they offering; as in, what was it in?
Or were they referring to Doombringer, the unique sword?

My apoogies for not being more clear. They had the unique doombringer sword. Its dmg seemed to be higher, but the high chance for ctitical strikes seems pretty nice.
one question about the effects on weapons, do they effect your chance with each hit for that weapon, or are they cummulative across all attacks? i assuem the later since my goreriders have several effects that are clearly effective on hits only.
If it's on the weapon, it only applies to that weapon. If it's on armor/helms/shields, it applies any weapon you have.
So, if you have two weapons equipped, one with 50% crushing blow, one with 30%, and then some blood gloves with 5%, you'd have 55% with the first weapon, 35% with the other, whenever it is being swung.
