Mace or Axe Whirlybarb

I love both the weapons so much. Style,power, ect.

But im torn between the two so can a few of you guys throw some views my way?

Btw I am reading Rikstaker's Whirlwind Guide awesome guide.

Depends on how much you have to spend. Either can work, but generally if you're going for maces you'll want Stormlashes and if you go for axes you'll want EBOTD and/or Grief. The cheaper options in both categories are none too shabby - B-Star vs. Glimmershred, Razor's Edge/Death's Cleaver, etc. I'd say for style points (it's not your average barb!) go for maces - for sheer power the runeword axes are your best bet.

Well I got a great MF Sorc in single player so I can trade a bit. I think I might be able to come up with some runes.

I think I might go axe, axes kick *** right? I mean they can chop **** up...

ahh this is irritating me...

I goto make the barb and I say to myself " Axes" then I look at my mule who has the IK boots and I squirm and I want to go IK barb and maul...

if I go Axe I can tweak my character and all his gear if I go maul I wanna do the IK deal....I hate making decisions.

IK set is a nice, cheap build to go with, and will carry you through the game.

However, it is nowhere near as powerful as what you can manage with an axe build and runewords.
