A WW barb, what to socket my runemaster with?

Ok, so I'm going to make a ww barb using a 5 socket rune master. I'm pretty poor, as I dont have a better 1-handed weapon or good things to put into the rune master.

He will probably be whacking monsters mostly, so I need some damage as well to even hurt them. I had a bonehew barb before, it dealt nice dmg, around 5k max or something, but it still didn't beat all the monsters. I was in act4 hell as I stopped moving forward as it got too hard for my barbarian.

So that's why I'll be using a shield from now on.

I would be able to trade some shael runes. My question concerns mostly those IAS breakpoints with ww... And I think I have a 15% ias, 30% ed jewel somewhere as well. I could possibly use that along with some shaels.

By the way, which armor should I use?
I have a shaftstop that I will probably be using, since I dont know what is a good and cheap armor for a barbarian. I will be trying to trade for a stormshield soon.

I also have a toothrow, a griswold armor and a sazabi's armor that I could use as well.

If you got a 30%ed 15 ias jewel, do not socket it into anything at all, that may be your way too a cheap botd, with low ed, but still good enough to kill anything pve.

Wow, that would have been the most kind. I'm sorry, but I play on europe ladder. I should have said it in the first place... Well thanks anyway. I'll probably be putting a shael and some 15% ias and some damage jewels in, to achieve the last breakpoint with ww.

I'd say try to trade for a mal and pul rune (or get lucky with a hf), find an eth small crescent and make an oath in it. You can use the socket quest to get 4 sockets.

that 30/15 jewel should be worth much more than mal + pul....

Rune master has a range of 2. I would reccomend a runeword that makes a range of 3 for ww. :)

I once duelled 1 of my friends, he had Eth Rune Master whit Zod and 4 x 40ed 15 ias. i was using oath SS whit my barb.. even he did more damage he couldent land a single attack. range is very important! :)

30/15 is perfect lvl 49 jewel. Keep it until people start mld'ing, do not put it in a runemaster.
