I get this message when launching the game

DIABLO 2 EXPECTION

unhandled exeption

access_violation (c0000005) i just installed the game and haven't played

I get this about twice a day when i'm playing, the exception error , I've only been getting it since ver1.11. never had it before then

Have you updated D2 yet? I've had a friend have the same problem when he first installed, and to fix it I just had him download the patch from Blizzard and update D2 and it worked fine. Sometimes when you install something could install wrong because of a scratched cd or other things. Let me know if updated to a newer patch fixed it ;)
