View Full Version : Quickest Key Finder Build?

Hi,

I think I already know the answer "The Hammerdin". One problem i have with hammerdin is Nithalka's CE. Just curious to know if theres a decent build to tank countress, Summoner, Nithalka. I was thinking maybe a wind druid. Or even a teleing summoner. I've herd of people using poison necros. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

try to use 1 natures peace ring. it helps me alot & i use lit sorc with act2 nm def merc & i run count,summoner,nith in hell

A nature's peace would make a hammerdin badass against him, however...
I used a zealer. I lured crud outta the way and then just looped in and zealed nihk once, and BOOM. All done.
That was me.
I also hate key runs.

Slain monsters rest in peace is not triggered by spells

Teleport right on top of him and keep spamming and chugging potions

I do my key runs with my hammerdin. Against Nihlathak, I just tele right on top of him and start spamming. If for some reason my hammers miss, and they sometimes do, I just flash on Redemption and refill my life and clear out the corpses before Nihlathak has a chance to blow them up. Occaisionally he'll manage to get one or two explosions going, but I just tank them since my Redemption refills my life anyways.

I use a light sorc as well, none of that fancy Infinity crap either just a reapers troll for merc and tals helm. Cl tears thru niliks pack like nothin'. :cool:

I say barb, since you can tele onto nil, then howl the minions away, and kill nilithak easily with conc.

This is exactly what I do. You could also just keep redemption on the whole time. Nihla will still explode some corpses but nothing your redemtion cant keep up with easy.

I too use Hammerdin, but the CE doesn't usually give a prob because he dies so quickly when I spam on top of him. Otherwise, just drink a couple pots...

CL/FO works a treat nothing immune to this combo except nith himself and then your merc can deal with him.

barb, you can tele or ww through everything and just bash him really quick
a nice in and out job
for countess just tele/ww
for summoner you can leap attack

all fast, tons of life, easy kills
