Bliz/TK sorc, viable?

Well, I found out that my bliz sorc who was doing only 2500 ish blizz dmg at lvl 70 with only 2 synergies maxed and 10 CM, is good enough to kill hell meph with moat trick at a decent speed.

So I thought instead of maxing the 3rd enegry, I'd go for maxed TK to help energy shield.

I'm investing 106 pure str , and try to get somehow extra 50 str. so I can wear Tgod + SS (which gives 50 str total) then take those str gear off.
Rest into 2/3 Vit, 1/3 energy.

I'm just going to be doing hell meph/pindle only and because countess run doesnt seem like it's as reliable as meph runs so I dont know if its worth going 2ndary lightening just for countess runs.

Anyways, how does it look? You think I can pull this off?

What I would do differently:

Zero points in energy. If you find yourself running out too often, get an 'Insight' Merc or wear Frosties.

If I'm gonna spend the str to wear SS, I'm also gonna spend the dex to get max block.

If you're mostly doing Meph runs, I'd max Cold Mastery ASAP... it's more effective against Meph than synergies.

You can easily pull it off.

Except, no points into energy. None, zero, nadda. I can only think of one build that needs to put > zero points into energy; that would be an ENERGY sork. You don't need it, get an insight.

Also, I'd run Hell Andy. She's worth it.

Edit: Oh yeah, definately make sure you have enough strength for max block with SS.

ask Rekoc how he built his BLizz/TK he's Baal Hell running with her solo pretty fast says it's faster than orb. Very viable.

Yeah he needs to share that with us... I'm thinking about rebuilding as well, I can't do anything in 3+ player games other than tele safely with the TK... Blizz and I could solo ancient tunnels in 4+ player games for nice drops and exp!

I imagine the build is:

TK-20
Cold Mastery-20
Blizzard-20
Ice Blast-20
Glacial Spike-20

Rest into last Blizz synergy or teleport, whatever you prefer.

Memory staff on switch, preferably with one of the 'Ice shields' on it.

Strength-86 after gear for Up'd Vipermagi or 156 for SS.
Dex-Max block with SS/Mosers/Whitstans
Energy-None
Vitality-Everything else

If it's used for Baals, I'd get a might merk with Reapers.

valar is mostly correct, except for...

swap icebolt for glacial spike and use iceblast in conjunction with blizz to kill act bosses.

blizz sorks are the cheapest to run baals with. they do the runs reasonably fast, and they can certainly tank better than most characters. i ran a blizzsork last season with (all meffable) gear, and without any runewords (no cta). got from 87-95 by doing around 800 solo runs. by 95 someone loaned me a cta so it was much safer, but you can realistically do these types of runs without one.
