two bugs on my pally today

Well I haven't logged on my pally since the bugs, so I'm not sure if they're gone. The first one was that when I set town portal to F8, when I was out of town I couldn't use right click on F8 to create a portal. The skill box remained red, and that hasn't been fixed for awhile. Another bug I encountered earlier today. I was going through Act 1 NM with my pally, charging around to get to WPs fast. Then all of a sudden, I couldn't charge anymore. It was abrupt--instead of charging he would just stand. Just thought I'd report them. Hopefully it's gone now.

The charge thing is a known bug. If your hit at the start of the animation, the charge will lock up. Quitting and rejoining the game is the only known fix though (well, the only one that I know of).

As for the town portals, was the Tomb of TP in your cube?

it will -usually- wear off in 8-10 seconds, otherwise tapping the weapon switch will fix the charge bug. it's only really a major problem in pvp, since it leaves you a sitting duck for a second or two.

i believe that if u have a tp book in stash, then u cant use the town portal when hotkeyed

Did u have any tp's left in that book? Happens to me all the time while rushing, teleing to baal ;)

I recently bought DIILOD and I was playing in Asia realm with Druid. With tp scroll, it was going fine except once when right-click on right hand skill didn't work (though the skill icon shows white). Now I bought a tome from Akara and out in the wilderness, the town portal skill shows red when selected and I cannot use it. I have scrolls in my tome. I have to open my inventory and right-click the tome to make portals. Any solutions?

Did you assign a hotkey to a scroll TP? Using scroll of TP and tome of TP are different skills, so you need to reassign a hotkey to Tome.

Now I realise I should have posted this in newbie section as this was my mistake and not a bug.

It's a common mistake for space-scroungers. Hotkeying your Tome of TP in your inventory, and then moving said tome into your cube (in your inventory) invalidates your hotkey of Tome of TP, since it tries to draw it from your inventory, where it clearly is not. ^^

I think there might be a bug of some sort revolving around those Tomes of Town Portal, though.

Our BO barbarian has been using them constantly, switching in and out of cubes, making cow levels, storing it in stash, using them up... everything, really. Lately, however, he can't use them from hotkeys. Tried changing it to a different number, tried selling and rebuying, tried dropping and picking them back up... nothing. He'd make the animation, raising his arms up and everything, but no portal. Everytime we'd have to go into his inventory and right-click the tome itself. And it only happens on him. So far no one else has been affected by this quite strange affliction. Been happening for at least a week now, I think.
