Mmm, so I wanted to release some steam so to speak, and lo and behold bnet had provided me with a totally crappy 87-136 eth greatmaul. So, I stuck some rubies on a char, slapped some stupid rings on him, some lame charms, and came up with a level 13 charger, 355 life, 650-950 PvM listed damage.

people died (I have a nice screenie saying k... ill kill u... *slap*)


two hours later I deceided to duel a 24 eth snapper... obviously, he killed me... but the hunting has not been this good in ages. I went back to my old average of 1.3 ear per ten minutes, and that was counting all the chat times in between. 17 ears i got, ranging from level 9's to 24's. I was well pleased with the result.

ya, that was fun. yumm, squshie squshie fun! ooh i love this kind of fun. fluxxed a few level 30's, a 40 necro, smashed up a few idiots and some duellers too, killed a guy named charg_master (I have a screenie of his ear, and him rebuilding again, already at level 4)... mmm the fun didnt end, really, there was no end to it at all. untll i died, of course, but thats no biggie, gotta do the dishes.

It's like people have forgotten the danger of a pk. Or maybe they still think they are invincible because of chicken, even though they no longer have it (old habits die hard I guess). Maybe they think that without tppk they can't be killed, and that legit characters don't stand a chance against their uber level 20 sorc. Maybe their IQ has just dropped from the time doing mind-numbing baal runs and mf runs for that last month or so. Whatever it is, it's great.

My 13 charger had much the same sucess as you, getting 25 ears in the 4 or so hours I played him. He died to a 72, who I thought was a friend. Oh well, the fun doesn't end, and my lvl 9 nec is going to be a hella enjoyable.

im getting that same feeling too you know. people are still aware, but they simply don't know what pk's can do. they're blind now that they lack mh.

For sure, I was helping a friend through a2 and an annoying zon was in there, so I got my 83 sorc to come get him. I even told him I was going to do it. I hostiled, tele'd to where he was, and just barely missed before he got in tp. But he let me have all that time. I can't wait until my 18 gets up :D
