I hear it's customary for new people to introduce themselves here, so this is me saying hello.

I am BluesBrother87, I've been playing D2 for 4 years. I started off in Single Player Classic and eventually moved to Online Expansion play after about a year. I spent some time here fairly activly on the Barbarian forum under another account about 2 years ago. I am currently back to playing single player and thourghly enjoying it. I don't expect that I'll be doing much posting here, but I'll be more active on the Single Player Trading Forum.

Some of my current projects include a level 61 IK Set Whirlwind Barb and a level 79 Frozen Orb Sorc.

When I'm not playing D2 I am either going to school, playing disc golf, or playing guitar.

I hope to have lots of friendly interactions with all of you in the furure.

Hi and welcome to SPF! What's disc golf?

Is a lot life golf (duh) except you throw a frisbee like thing and instead of a hole you try to land it on a circular container (looks like a bird house) thats on a 3-4 foot pole. Kinda silly if you ask me, but I know a bunch of people who like it (I prefer real golf).

Darkwell - I go to high school in Minnesota.

SkaMan - I play acoustic mostly, but a friend of mine is getting me started on electric. I have a Fender acoustic that I picked up from a pawn shop about a year and a half ago.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

Actually, the rules for Disc Golf are pretty much exactly like ball golf. But you use a flying disc (don't use a Frisbee, you'll get no distance) to hit a target, which can be anything from a circular set of chains to a particular tree, to a hoop 10 feet off the ground. There is a PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association). And I think of disc golf as real golf, and ball golf as a really, really expensive way to waste an afternoon (whereas disc golf is a really, really cheap way to waste an afternoon  )

Couldn't have put it better myself. It's a great time, and if you total up all my disc golf expenses for the 8 years that I have been playing (gas not included) it would not exceed $50.
