CD key in use by me [Archive] - Diablo 3 & Diablo 2 Forums

So I got a C/I and now it says that my cd key is being used by me. Nothing new this has happened to me before, the new thing is that it has been like this for an hour now. It has never taken this long to get back on, so my question is what is the longest anyone has had to wait before they stopped getting the message that the cd key is in use after getting C/I?

it's only supposed to last 5 minutes but I've heard that it lasts longer. Just stop checking. Wait for about an hour or so and see if it clears up or not.

I hit control alt delete and under process's "game" was still there so I ended the process tree and was able to get be on. If only I had thought to check that sooner.
