cd-key question

Since I don't really know where else to post this, and people who play hardcore are generally the smartest people on earth anyway, I guess I'll ask here...

I acquired a second copy of D2, but I've already got it installed on both computers with the same cd-key. Does anybody know if there is any way I can change the cd-key on one of them without re-installing?

I dont think anything can be done and if it could would be harder then just reinstalling it

No. You have to re-install. Doesn't take that long.

Make a note somewhere which copies of D2 and D2X are no. 1 and which are no. 2 if ever you have to do it again.

There is a way to refill your cdkey manually or via a program, its also possible to use different cdkeys on one copy of diablo using d2loader.

there's a fix for it: use a different diablo folder for each cdkey when running them at the same time.

EDIT: i just realized that i said it works with one copy. what i meant was it works when for example you want to switch to a different cdkey
