It really depends on what u want to do and what eq u have access to.
If you decide for max dmg, then:
20 orb
20 cm
20 cb
20 tk
pre-reqs and rest into ES
1 warmth
1 static
with +10 skills and level 85, u can have a level 15 ES which gives u about 71% protection.
If you decide for max protection, then max ES instead of cb.
Stats also depends on the eq u have access to. Last season I had Tal/set which gives a lot of +life, so I went str/dex for max block/rest into energy. If you are starting with nothing, then u'd have to put more into life.
thanks chubby for letting me know. this is hardcore so...
i want:
max block. which i will use whistans later on.
cb = charged bolt?
i think ill pour more into life then let items pump my mana up, good idea?

Doh, I meant ice bolt. I was thinking cold bolt ><
I dont know about hardcore, too chicken to play that :) If I had to, then I would max ES, max block, high life I guess. Just sit there safely and throw out little ice cubes :D

Actually my setup works fine like this:
20 ib
20 fo
20 tk
20 es
1 in all prereqs
1 frozen armor
1 warmth
rest in cold mastery
with +skills, everything is high enough, cm beats any noncold immuun to -100% and even in pvp its a very good build
i was, at first, going to max FO/CM first then work on TK then ES. i guess that works too. im putting energy to base, ill use +mana charms to boost mana.
