Teleporting Infinity trapper??

Hello all. I am building an assasin for fun on non ladder and wanted to ask a few gear questions. I know the basic skills, so this isn't a problem. I have aquired a cryptic axe infinity (non eth) and i wanted to use on a teleporting trapper. Would think be affective and worth the extra strength?? Would losing out on the +5 or +6 traps from hoto/spirit 3claw/3claw be worth the conviction and -res?

Why not put it on your merc? Than you can have the best of both worlds:)

If he sticks it on his merc, he'll need a way to make sure that the merc survives the duel.

Your strength should be quite high from Enigma anyway ... how much more do you need to add ? Ani and an Assa torch (if you have them) should help too.

Try putting it on your weapon switch ... lay traps with Hoto and switch to your conviction aura as a suprise tactic ... but you won't be able to block.
