Black Soul/Gloam Damage

I think almost everybody now has noticed that the black souls and gloams (lightning specters) in the worldstone deal some insanely high damage... Even with full lightning resistance the threat is huge and being surrounded by 7-8 of them its almost an instant death.

Do you think this could be a bug? I don't think they should be dealing that much damage. Any thoughts on this?

Their physical damage is applied to their lightning attacks. It's a known bug.

Nope. Their lightning attack does about 200 - 300 pure lightning dmg.

Dont you think 200-300 is a bit low? Because with high light resist they still do huge damage. IF they do such low damage i would think they ignored resist.

There's also the global 5% chance for double dmg. Which is 400 - 600.
For FE/CE/LE monsters there's an additional 66 - 100 dmg of the appropriate type and Unique/Champion Gloams do 333.33 - 500 base Lightning dmg. This can all be doubled, so a Unique Gloam with FELECE can do 1062.67 - 1600 total elemental dmg. Still think it's not high enough?

from what I heard its a big big bug and hopefully by the next patch [if they make one] the bug will be fixed.

Them Black Souls sure are a pain. If they give me trouble in Hell I like to go to normal, find them and slowly kill them all while I laugh and stand there in their lightning like a gentle breeze. I'm such a bully. :D
