Cannot get jade figurine

Just cannot seem to get the jade figurine in act 3. I have killed like 30 uniques and champions. Supposedly its like 50% chance right?

I play with my husband and I have experienced that if I play in a party with him and he has already done the quest, the jade figurine doens't drop.. if I make a game for myself it drops almost instantly.. Just an observation of mine..

Several games. I gave up and went to hell mode. Just did not drop at all no matter how many uniques I killed.

Well look at it this way, the 20 to life bonus will make exactly 0% difference in hell. I would be much more concerned about getting the Anya quests completed.

I just thought of something. Is it possible I killed an unique over some spot where they cannot drop items? Like a river or something?

Have you checked the quest log in your games? Like was said earlier, if the maker of the game already found it, you'll never find it.

Yes of course. We are talking about games i made myself and there is noone else but me in them. The quest box is empty.

Your situation certainly does sound unusual, so what info I have may not help at all, but...

I usually find it shortly after I go out of town. Often it seems that the first or so boss I kill drops it.

But at least 3 times in the past few months it didn't drop until I found the Spider Cavern and killed one of the boss spiders there. For it to drop so often in the same small area makes me wonder if there is some "bias" that makes one of the spider bosses drop it (if it hasn't dropped before then). So you could try the Spider Cavern bosses a few times, if you haven't found it before finding the Cavern. *shrug*

Same thing happened to me. Was hunting near the spider layer and I got a quest update telling me to see cain about the figurine but no figurine dropped. I looked all over for it and couldn't find it. It wasn't in my inventory either. Cain tells me nothing and and I dont have the figurine to give to meschief. Will more the one figurine drop or should I just start over?

Are your character of low level? Perhaps that limits your drops?
Try doing Travincal a couple of times, High Council usually drops it for me when no others drop it.

If I remember correctly, the Jade Figurine supposedly drops from the first Unique (boss) monster you kill - which is why I always head to Trav first - but doesn't always seem to be the case. If it doesn't drop there, it usually shows up on one of the mobs in Upper Kurast.
