build/equip for ladder solo chaotic trist paly

ive never been but i understand there are various monsters with the three ubers. which makes me think hamerdin,but heard things meph summons are imune to magic,how does one deal with them? cept hamerdin leaves bout 9 or so unused skils at 87 after pres and synergies

is ias realy that important wouldnt i have all day to hamer away with CB to kill them,and when they get to a sliver will hammers kill them?

i got some decent gear. guilames, dracs, death cleaver, or i can make kingslayer(btw would zerker be faster or PB),other wep i thought was flesh riper 33cb 20 slow (i did dclone with that wep) or a duress but i got a trechery think lvl 15 fade would be useful no? goblin toe a ravens/dwarf tgods belt no realy ammy thinkin risin sun for diablo. what kinda dmg do i need with smite for lifetap to be able to sustain me?

would one point in smite or zeal do it for the ubers and lilith etc,cuz hes other wise a hamerdin what resitst more important for meph light or cold? my goal kill them bymyself got a meteororb sorc with ful tals so geting keys should just take time..

what gear skils are you guys using that already have them would be ideal

my zeal/smiter doesnt have anything fancy that i had last season but he can still solo the key bosses and trist, just not as fast as my nl pally.

he wears:
kiras
highlords/ravev/dwarf star
heaven's lite 'shael, +11 all res +12 life jewel'
duress
p dimond'd SS
dracs
tgods
goblin toe

on switch rare wand with 97 life tap charges.

I maxed smite, fanata, holy shield, 5 pts in salvation, 10 in zeal, the rest in pre reqs and still 7 un used skill points with a few skill quests left to do.

a hammerdin (or ANY pally with maxed fanat or conc) does as well as a smiter or zealot at uber trist. all u really need is grief, lifetap and a 6 frame smite. my hammerdin uses grief phase, exile, ias'd guillaumes, goblin toe, highlords and 1 raven for the cbf. rest is the usual hammerdin gear. takes about 1 minute to clear uber trist.

i didn't read that part about ladder, my bad. with that kind of budget though, u might just want to stick with a smiter.
your strat might work if open wounds cancels out monster regen like what people say, then u can rely on open wounds and minimal smite dmg to finish them off. keep rejuvs for the last sliver as u won't be leeching enough then. hammers will be useless here. definitely make the kingslayer in a pb, and go for the fastest smite frame. your skill pts should be in holy shield for the smite dmg, or 1 point in salvation if u need the resists.

My nl pvp smite/charge pally uses Silence+griz shield vs meph and ebotd + upped zak vs baal and diablo. Other gear are CoH, Guillaume's Face, duel raven frosts, highlords, dracs, gores and tgods.

I usually leech back to full health in 2-3 hits once tap triggers w/ 2K smite.

The only 'expensive' thing in my build is prolly the coh, upped zak and ebotdz. A cheaper alternitive would prolly be Astreon's Iron Ward. With a shael in it + highlords you still hit 4 fpa zeal and 6 fpa smite. Also if ya can't afford a CoH, the smoke runeword is good for res, as is a non upped Zak..lower damage but much cheaper.

I have tried it with Gface and veil of steel for res. I can take em down much faster with 50cb as opposed to 15cb from just gores. Res doesn't really matter if you hit with tap imo as long as they are positive with mephies conv you will be fine. Mine are somewhere around +20-30 with conv on. :thumbsup: Bah forgot that the +20-30 res is with griz shield + silence. Hopefully you can get your res up that high with gear OR use salvation and have a slower smite.
