Help me out with my orb/tk sork

I have a level 86 orb sork hc ladder I've already maxed orb, ice bolt, cold mastery, and tekekenesis and I'm putting all my other points into ES. As for stats I have 75 dex, around 90-100 str, and 340 vit with items. Should I keep putting everything into vit or go dex and try and get a ton of +dex items so I can get higher block %? I need help with gear also...

I'm using:
34 viper magi (should I up it and UM it?)
occy (plan on hoto)
mosers with 2 p diamonds (plan on UM'd SS)
magefists
res rings (what should I change these to? don't say soj I can't find those :p )
53/20/20/20 res all cirlet (shako or nightwing next? Ofcourse shako is a lot easier to get...)
tgods
silkweave (war travs? or just get those to swap my mf?)
3 cold skill ammy (try and get a tals?)
switch=ali baba (mf jewels?) and rhyme grim shield

mf gear I swap to 3 p topaz death mask, skullders, and 36% chancies.

What about my merc? Right now I have an A2 defiance merc with a 500 damage insight thresher, 4 p toapz dusk (traded away shafts) and an eth shako (could swap for a gaze)

looks ok. the only thing i would say is definitely get some sort of leech on the merc.

because most of your points is already allocated towards your vitality, you might as well continue with that route, but it is possible to go towards block from your stand point. Keep it mind that i dont recommend it because ES takes ALOT of mana. With an orb/tk,es build most builds try to balance their mana and life / dex and engery. you can put on gear that will increase your mana pool, but keep in mind that your ES has to be at an efficient lvl to absorb/convert damage towards mana pool.

if you went towards block... the best thing you can do to attain a higher block rate is by going with Whistans Guard (WG) instead of Stormshield. If you went and socketed the WG with an Eld rune, it will greatly increase your block rate, meaning less points invested into dex or if you feel your resist is too low then you can go and socket it with an Um rune. WG has a lower str requirement and a higher block rate than SS. SS is overall good for its damage reduce, par block, and good resist but it takes too much str to use.
