Is a zero OS +3 matriarchal bow a complete waste?

I'm hoping I can do something with this bow. Larzuk would probably give it 5 sockets..

The socket recipe aka: Ral + Amn + pAmethyst + my +3 zero OS Matriarchal bow would look like this:
1in6 chance of 1 socket
1in6 chance of 2 sockets
1in6 chance of 3 sockets
1in6 chance of 4 sockets
2in6 chance of 5 sockets
Is that correct? Should i take the gamble and use the socket recipe and hope for the best? Furthermore, is that really my only option? I would like to make a Harmony out of it. :(

Laz WILL give it max number of sockets, best gamble would be socket recipe. If you get 3 os you can always make Edge for Act Boss Killing or Undead Killing. Or uber killing PMH is good.

Level 15 Thorns Aura When Equipped
+35% Increased Attack Speed
+320-380% Damage To Demons (varies)
+280% Damage To Undead
+75 Poison Damage Over 5 Seconds
7% Life Stolen Per Hit
Prevent Monster Heal
+5-10 To All Attributes (varies)
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
Reduces All Vendor Prices 15%!!!

If you get 5 os keep in case you want to make CTA if you find ohm someday.
I would definitly use the socket recipe unless there's another way im not aware of. Another option is imbue it and pray.

if it were a superior gmb it would be junk(unless you wanted to make a cta bow)....larzuk would always give 5 os...the cube recipe will not work on sups.

Well...it got 3 sockets. I guess it could be an Edge. Too bad I don't PVM. I wonder what it could be worth in the trade forums. hmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe I'll use it to gamble with...

where did you hear that pmh doesn't work on ubers?
yup pmh doesn't work on those guys...open wounds looks like it does....i haven't tried it but i think pmh will still work on dclone
