I have the runes for insight and rhyme

today I found sol, tir, tal, I found ral several times but traded them off, traded for ral...

I traded amn for shael, and found eth lol.


What kind of spear/polearm should I save my runes for? Like what sort of damage? I'm just going to put ryhme in the first exceptional shield that fits my needs, since I don't need some super shield as I don't really get close for melee...my merc does that.

I can find duriels shell with andy right? Also, whats the highest nm countess can drop? I heard the highest for normal is ral, but I can tear up nm countess with 2 chain lightnings, last time I just shot into a room and it richoceted off her guyus and killed her with 1.

Insight can't be made in spears, so you're looking for an Ethereal Cryptic Axe, Ethereal Great Poleaxe, or Ethereal Giant Thresher to make it in. Might be hard finding one with 4os though. You'll get pretty nice damage with those.

As for Rhyme, try to make it in a Grim Shield or Heater.

Only Hell Andariel can drop Duriel's Shell (Normal and Nightmare can't).

Range of rune drops from Countess:

Normal: El - Ral
Nightmare: El - Ko
Hell: El - Lo

There is also the eth CV. Larzuk will give it 4 sockets, but it has high str requirements. 200 str, if I recall correctly. You would need some +str items to work this one out. :lol:
