Anya, resist scroll

I recently did the unfreeze Anya quest in NM. I tried to give her the potion, and she wouldn't take it. I think it's just acting up and move on to the Ancients. When I get back to town, Anya's there and it says I did the quest, but she won't give me my prize item and (more importantly) Malah won't give me my resistance scroll! Has this happened to anybody else?

What happened when you made a new game? Was the quest still complete, and Malah still not giving you any resistance scroll?

Is your inventory full? I don't think she drops it on the ground anymore.
Do you possibly have the scroll but just don't know it? Is it possible you are crazy/retarded and actually read the scroll then forgot about it?
Do you have a learning disability?

No, inv was not full.

Don't have the scroll, fully checked.

Didn't use scroll, checked base resistance after everything was off, it is as it should be for using the resist scroll from normal.

Basically the same thing happened to me.

I needed to start the anya quest on hell, but I didn't have an enigma at the time and couldn't find anyone who was willing to help by teleporting nor could I find people who were willing to fight through all those souls, so I gave up and continued with my baal runs. I noticed that the host of the games had already rescued anya and she was standing by the portal.

I remembered that a friend of mine wanted some echoing javalins for his barb so I go down to buy them. When I clicked on her it started giving me the quest text, she gave me my class specific item and it finished the quest, which worried me a bit so I went and spoke to malah... she didn't give me a resist scroll. =\ The weird thing was that the quest displayed as "you completed this quest in a previous game".

Thankfully this isn't much of an issue anymore as I have finally managed full resists in hell mode, but be aware that talking to anya in someone elses game can really screw things up for you if you need the resists scroll.
