Hello and Question

Hello, this is my first post. I've surfed these boards for a few months now. I play a meteorb sorc (Very creative, I know). I only play single player. I have a question about magic find runs.

For fun I'm trying to complete Tal Rasha's set. I've done tons of Hell Meph runs and only a handful of Baal runs (as they take much longer obviously). I've found every piece but TR's Guardianship. Is it in Hell Meph's drop table and does anyone have another area to suggest fod finding the piece.

Hell Mephisto can't drop it. He can drop a lot of nice things, but is unfortunately unable to drop items in the high-end spectrum. I'm not sure, but I think Hell Mephisto can only drop up to TC 78, while Tal Rasha's Guardianship is TC 84.

Your best bet will probably be running Hell Baal and the World Stone Keep, since many monsters in the WSK can drop it as well.

You can run the Pits, which will get you a lot of nice white items in the process (socketed Beserker Axes, etc.).

You can try the dungeons around Blood Raven, which drop TC 87 items too.

You can try Glacial Trail and Frozenstein.

You can also try Hell Diablo, which I find takes too long, but there are monsters in the River of Flame that also drop it (along with nice runes).

You you can keep running Hell Mephisto, but kill along the way there, as monsters in the Durance of Hate can drop it.

... Or you can try Pindleskin. :lol:

Just for future reference, d2data.net is a great site for drop tables and lists items that drop in a desired TC down to the highest % for a monster to drop it.
For example:

Tal-Rasha's Guardianship is TC84 and where it says armo84, you click and it gives a list of those monsters who have the highest rate of dropping an item with a TC of 84. The first one is Baal on the first kill in hell (for the quest) and then the second is Baal in every run after the quest kill. It has 0.33110201% to drop a TC84 from baal for every kill after the quest. This doesn't mean that he will drop THAT particular item, but that he has that chance to drop a TC84 item for armors (Archon Plate,Lacquered Plate,Shadow Plate,Ward,Troll Belt,Bone Visage,Sky Spirit,Zakarum Shield). Then, the chance for that dropped item to be unique, set, rare, etc. is based on MF.

The website also has drops for runes and other items according to who has the most chance of dropping it. Happy MF'ing! :D

Ahh, excellent resource, thank you very much for your help. I usually use the diabloii.net for information however most of it seems very outdated and contradictory at times.
